Estrel History
The success story of the Estrel shows what can grow out of an idea, optimism, courage and determination! With visionary thinking, risk-taking and foresight, Estrel owner Ekkehard Streletzki stepped into the scene in 1994 by creating the Estrel and has since went on to make it what it is today: Germany's largest hotel and home to a unique collection of contemporary art, an internationally renowned congress centre (ECC) and a world-renowned show theatre that has become an integral part of Berlin's cultural landscape.
