Adjacent to the new public park being developed around the Estrel Tower, a cutting-edge multipurpose hall with capacity for up to 10,000 guests is planned for construction. With this expansion, the "Estrel World" will become a premier destination for conventions and large-scale events of all kinds, offering an overall capacity to welcome up to 25,000 attendees, and significantly strengthening Berlin's position as a leading international meetings and events hub.
In 2026, the Estrel Berlin, Europe’s largest hotel, entertainment and congress complex, will celebrate a new addition: the Estrel Tower – a remarkable destination for meetings, events, celebrations, creativity, and collaboration. With the completion of the shell construction and erection of the roof truss, Berlin’s first skyscraper hit its next milestone with a topping-out ceremony.
Three decades ago, a project began in Berlin-Neukölln that ushered in a new era for the capital’s hotel and event sector: the Estrel. In 1993, ground was broken on the site that, today, is home to a globally-renowned hotel and congress center – the largest of its kind in Europe. The way to this unique success story was paved by the pioneering spirit of Ekkehard Streletzki, founder and visionary behind the Estrel.
