Live events during the pandemic? The Estrel shows us how!
Whether it be a real estate congress, a laboratory technology trade show, the FDP political party’s convention or even an international sporting event this past August with 1,000+ participants from all over the world, it has been happening at the Estrel Berlin - safely and Covid-19 compliant! With a safe framework in place to protect participants in all possible ways, even events with a large number of guests can take place safely and in turn, networking and interaction is enabled.
In the midst of the current crisis, the Estrel Berlin is impressively demonstrating how this is done. Like all event locations, the Estrel, Europe's largest hotel, congress and entertainment centre, was massively impacted by the consequences of the Corona crisis. In response, they developed quite early on a very comprehensive hygiene and safety concept to cover both the size and spectrum of events that take place at the Estrel. This includes, among other things, biometric fever screening upon entering the hotel or congress centre, contactless doorways, climate & temperature control systems functioning with a supply of 100% fresh air in all conference rooms, digital social distance measuring, and the tracking of viral infection chains in accordance with data protection laws for event participants. Above all, the Estrel Congress Center (ECC), with its 25,000 sqm of event space and spacious outdoor areas has plenty of room to orchestrate events and visitor navigation of the property in accordance with social distancing requirements.
